Was he the dude in Kagemusha? The impersinator? Think it's the second picture. Great movie.
@Jimbobbins actually that's the picture from Red Beard, his last Kurosawa collaboration. Tatsuya Nakadai was the actor from Kagemusha, and also worked with Kurosawa on High and Low, Ran, Yojimbo, and Sanjuro.
