Obligatory DVD Release Post 3/22/2011
It's release days like these that make me wonder why I bother at all.
Wide Releases:
The Tourist: Strike One.
Skyline: Strike Two.
How Do You Know: STRIKE THREE!!!! YOU'RE OUT!!
Yogi Bear: What the hell are you still doing at the plate? Go back to the dugout already! My god Hollywood, are you trying to kick us while we're down? This is almost T-ed up to let the Tourist make more money. I can't name five people who want to watch any of these films. This is downright cruel. I'm going to make waffles and wallow in my sorrow.
Limited Releases:
Stand by Me (Blu-Ray): It may not be a film made for the blu-ray package, but this is one of the true gems of cinema. If you haven't caught it yet, do so.
Elizabeth/Elizabeth: The Golden Age (Blu-Ray): An entrancing and exciting piece of theatrical British history/costume drama (bad colloquialism but never the less).
Well ladies and gents, that's all for today! Hope you have a good one. And as always, happy DVD hunting!

I wonder what's on ESPN tonight...?
Ridiculously horrendous slate of DVD release this week. The four combine for a 80% RT score ahah
Watching all of these movies together have been outlawed by the Geneva Convention as a form of torture. On the bright side, Stand By Me :D
@Mad I don't know but I'm blaring "I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight" - seemed fitting
@Castor Bad planning on Hollywood's behalf - they could have entered a fifth and slid onto a cool 100%!
@Sugary All of them? If someone makes it through 2 they win the Medal of Honor.
I hereby and forever boycott Reese Witherspoon's bland love triangle nonsense.
Absolutely horrible selection this week. I'm ready for Black Swan next week. I want to see that again.
