THE FINAL LINE

"But if you ride yonder... head up, eyes steady, heart open... I think one day you'll find that you're the hero you've been looking for."

Reflections: There's a very good reason this began with Jimmy Stewart. It was his final line, one I remember from the very first time I saw the film, that became the catalyst for me wanting to do this list. Something beautifully completing in a man who so embodied the ideal American hero, now telling a new generation to find the hero in themselves. Sure I'm looking into it too much, but with a spin that beautiful, who wouldn't be?

I couldn't agree more. It's a great final line.

Oh that is a great one! So fitting for him, even if the movie itself isn't exactly a lasting classic (though I did enjoy it as a kid of course).

Great final line. Glad to see he went out with something inspiring and not some random meaningless line.

A line so fitting for the man. A legend and a truly great man.

Great final line, I'm sending in my three choices as we speak, but I don't know if they can top Jimmy.

@Alex It doesn't age perfectly, but I still enjoy it. Jimmy Stewart's voice alone is worth it for me. "Give them the lazy eye!" + "One man's sunset is another man's dawn (lead in to the above line)" just awesome :P

@Andrew Look forward to getting them! If you want to do the reflections segment for the links I won't mind. Doesn't have to be about the quote, some are more fitting than others. Just the person in general is good by me :)
