When I first read that you were going to review Paris - When It Sizzles in your podcast, I was afraid that you'll talk about how horrible it is and it'll hurt my feelings, etc. But you did just the opposite.

It's an underrated romantic comedy. Holden and Hepburn's chemistry just sizzled. I love Holden and Hepburn on screen together; it's said that Holden was always in love with Hepburn ever since they made Sabrina together. Hepburn rejected him when she found out he had a vasectomy (she wanted many children). Knowing that adds a certain dimension to this otherwise fun, enjoyable film. And Tony Curtis is absolutely hilarious in it.

I love Meryl Streep, but I just don't think she deserves all the awards she's getting for Julie and Julia. Oh, sure, it's a lovely performance in a pleasant enough film, but I don't think it's the kind of performance that you give an Oscar to. But I haven't seen enough performances to really be the judge, but I think Melanie Laurent would be a much more superior choice.

I've heard so much about Grave of the Fireflies. I really should see it someday.

can't wait to listen to this...but how come it ain't showing up in my iTunes feed?

@Marcy Ah, yeah it's not a genre that clicks well with me, but it's quite hilarious and fun. Streep, I don't know either, but it's a case where the media has too much influence on the winner.

@Mad Because I haven't updated it for the Mypodcast stuff yet. I will today though.

@ Univarn... Scandal! Lawsuit!! Intellectual property infringement!!!

As if. Thanks for two shout-out's within 30 minutes, and good work on the 'cast. Admittedly, I've never seen PARIS WHEN IT SIZZLES, but given your comments on it, I just might have to give it a go now.

Likewise GRAVE OF FIREFLIES...perhaps so I can mock you for being a wuss.

(Jokes)

Great work man - keep 'em coming, and look for my next episode tomorrow morning.

@Mad hahaha. I was originally just going to ramble them off, but since I knew I had a deadset #1 I figured I'd go ahead with the rest. Thanks for the compliment, you should definitely check out Paris - When it Sizzles. If you watch Grave of the Fireflies and decide I'm being a wuss, we're getting you a pulse monitor to try and find your heart :P
