While the new trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman has some promise for fantasy-adventure, I notice she's being sold as the third heel to Theron and Hemsworth. Which is fine, but I'm not sure she's the film's biggest setback. First, the complete lack of the dwarfs from the marketing campaign is disturbing for me. Anyone who has seen the Disney classic knows for a fact that they're the glue that holds it all together. Secondly the film is being helmed by first time director Rupert Sanders based on a screenplay by three writers with completely different backgrounds. None of that means it'll be bad, but I find both of those to be red flags.
However since this year was the year of Green (Green Lantern, Green Hornet), I guess next year will get to be the year of White. While I admit I'm much more engaged in seeing Singh take on the classic, this first trailer does show promise.

Kristen Stewart is supposed to be shockingly good in "The Runaways", I've heard... But yes, even I liked her in Into the Wild, for example, but the Twilight series aren't helping her much. It's not a very grateful role.
Who needs dwarves when you have the Evil Queen? ;)
She is fairly good in The Runaways. I don't hate her. I think her natural personality reeks of something abysmal...but who am I to judge?
The dwarves are in one of the posters that were released along with the trailer. You barely notice them, but it is weird that trailer didn't include them as well.
I think the trailer looks cool.
Wanted to ask - I'd nominated your blog for the 411 Movie Award for Best Gossip. Did they ever contact you? Didn't see the nomination badge.
