Movies Watched This Past Week:
I know I'm a bit behind on this one, but here we go.
Breaking Away (eh, not as good as I've been told it is)
Days of Heaven (Fine enough, but Malick pace = Uni pause)
Cross of Iron (Peckinpah + War = lots of hard to follow action and a convoluted plot, you'd think it'd amount to more)
Waiting for Superman (or the script to get here. Still, it's good enough for what it tries to do)
For your Consideration:
Never underestimate the power of the Link Side.
Sometimes the greatest posts can come in the simplest of platforms. Sam of Film Intel proved that this past week with his post: The Day Headline Writing Died
Rich of Wide Screen World gives us a brand new 'comic'-style spin on the upcoming Costume Design race with his LAMBs Devour the Oscars post!
Castor and crew crank up the awesome with their 20 Most Awesome Movie Deaths. How did Shannon Elizabeth not get number 1 for 1997's Jack Frost (no, not the Michael Keaton one)?
Defiant Success is going back to back linkage this week as they bring us their picturesque Top 20 Favorite Movies.
Last, but not least, Brian of Brian's Film Review Blog gives us the quick breakdown on Seventeen films he's seen lately. Everything from Dogtooth to Elephant Man and all that may lay in between.
Poll Update:
I know, I didn't do a poll last week! Why? Because I forgot, then by the time I remembered, I couldn't think of one :(
Here we go, NEW POLL: Where do you sit on the Nic Cage love train?
Movie Soundtrack of the Week:
I can't resist Ennio Morricone, and his Days of Heaven soundtrack made it all worth it.

Thank you, Sir! All hail the wondrous group of headline writers who made that post possible.
At least this link is more deserving of linkage than last week's. Thanks, by the way.
Glad you enjoyed the Days of Heaven score, such a beautiful one. Thanks for the link love Uni :)
Days of Heaven makes my heart sing.
@Intel No problem, hopefully they've learned their lesson.
@MovieNut14 Haha, I liked your post last week.
@Castor Anytime. It was a good score, better than the film was.
@Simon Glad to know.
