Because Henry Fonda is Awesome

I've always had a mixed element of respect and admiration for Fonda. He could fool anyone he was a character actor, but upon any close inspection one can see he always had something new to offer. His persona wasn't dominating, it was enduring. What set Fonda apart so brilliantly was his attraction to characters with difficult pasts which adversely affect their present.

Henry Fonda is awesome - best film? I'd say a toss-up between ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and THE WRONG MAN.

Though I haven't seen THE GRAPES OF WRATH...
