Obligatory DVD Release Post 4/26/2010

I often find myself wondering, what would a Koala do if it had human like fingers. Would it be like a monkey, dabble in the poop tossing industry. Or worse, would they become hand models. I think that might the better career option. Though it may struggle at first.

"Sure, I'd like the ring, but can I avoid the hairy hands?" As a side reference I'd like to point out if a man is buying the item, that joke is hilarious. If it's a woman, not quite as much. But, since Life in Equinox is not a sexist blog I'd like think, somewhere out there hairy hands is a euphemism that works both ways.

New Releases:

It's Complicated: You know I've always wanted to make a movie teaming up Alec Baldwin and David Hasselhoff, call it Parenting 101. Throw in a cameo from Jon and Kate, and maybe even Britney Spears for the romantic interest. It would be awesome. Oh, this movie. It's ok. Normally I'd link you here to my review but blogger lost it. Suffice to say I gave it a 6.25.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus: I have to admit if I ever walked into the Imaginarium I fear for what would appear. It's supposed to bring out your deepest fantasies... but is a 24/7 Kurosawa TV channel next to Cleopatra singing She Bangs with Ricky Martin really worth the trip? Oh, I fear I've said too much there. Damn. My Review.

MegaPirahna: I don't have anything to say, that name is just too awesome for me not to point out. You can continue on reading now.

Other Releases: Five Minutes of Heaven, District B13: Ultimatum, Decent 2, Disgrace, Why We Laugh, End of Poverty, Milton Glaser: To Inform & Delight

Other Goodies:

Dune (blu-ray): Why not? It's cheese, questionable plot, and blu-ray. Isn't that the very definition of a good expenditure?

Tombstone (blu-ray): This movie kills the mustaches. You don't even need a plot when the staches are this mint quality! Top to bottom, this movie makes Burt Renoyld's stache look weak.

Lot of other stuff, be sure to check some of them out! Laters.

District B13: Ultimatum - I watched the first one and, though the free-running is great, the story isn't much.

Dune is horrible. Only thing about that film that is remotely interesting is Patrick Stewart and Sting.

@simon I'll have to check it out, didn't even hear about it until recently.

@elgringo thanks. I'll get right on it.

@brian thanks for checking that out for me :).

@mvp Patrick Stewart is almost worth the price alone.

"Patrick Stewart is almost worth the price alone."

I wouldn't go that far, I say he's worth looking up his scenes on YouTube and saving the pain of sitting through the rest of the film, he's not in it that much.

Will finally be catching up on "Imaginarium." Reception seems to have been positive from a lot of people, so I'm looking forward to it.
