Life in Equinox Podcastmonium #8

IT'S BACK! Did you miss it? Admit it, you know you did!

After a week off, the Life in Equinox Podcast is back, and I dare say better than ever. What makes it better? Well, this week nothing. In fact I have a cold and sore throat so if you hear a sudden switch don't worry, I just cut out my coughing fits. Overall though, lots to talk about, lots to say, and I think an enjoyable, especially goofy, podcast for you all to absorb and enjoy!

Runtime: 24minutes, 59seconds

Topics/Films Covered:
Brick
Whip It
Time Traveler's Wife
The Edge of Darkness

That's all for this week folks.

Loving the podcast!

RE: Brick; I'm an English specialist, so, this movie was like heroin to my brain.

RE: Whip It; I was once a 16-yo girl.

[Haven't seen TT's Wife, so, I skipped over it.]

RE: Edge of Darkness; blaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgghhhhh.

WORST PODCAST EVER!!! (just kidding)

I've now got to go post some reviews on IMDb.com and then go take a deuce. ;)

Yikes. That intro scared me. I thought you were trying to be someone from Shutter Island.

@MVP I'll just patiently wait for you to do your podcast then I'll return the kind remarks :P

@Tom Haha, didn't even think of it. I just like to start them off with a random voice.

@Castor Thanks!

@Dezmond shhhhhh. Don't let my secret out!

Another fine episode good sir! (And FYI, episode seven of my 'cast is up too!)

I'm with Sasha - BRICK is a complete rush for anyone who digs use of language. It's a total throwback to the sorts of movies Hollywood used to make way back in the day, and the reason I think some of the dialogue was hard for you to follow is because people just don't talk like that anymore. Still, I wouldn't have changed a single word.

I was a fan of WHIP IT as well. I don't think it's a game-changer or anything like that, but I do believe that it has a great message, isn't nearly as cute as it could have been, and gets some pretty good performances out of its cast.

(For my money - it was stellar to see Kristen Wiig bring her normal schtick down a few notches).

Keep up the good work, hermano!
