Woohoo #2 already? I feel spoiled! Great second cast, was great to hear some background on the Kurosawa-ness.
Totally didn't know about the British Indie awards - sounds like they have some great taste!
Ryan, what's your email addy?...Kinda want to drop you a line and ask you about a few things.
@Shannon thanks! Yeah was nice to see the British Indie awards giving some credit to one of my favorite films. Only if one of the US award shows would go for it.
@Mad Univarn@gmail.com :)
And I forgot to say I'm totally with you on Tom Hardy in Bronson. He's freaking EPIC in it. I've thought of that performance many times since seeing the film.
Judging from that picture, you had a bad hair day today :PP
PS totally agree about Thomas Hardy, he was always an amazing actor, and still is.
Nice as the last. You sound like Mickey House high on heroin, take that as you will.
I chuckled at the ‘MINDLESS MONSTER OF PROFIT’ part. I think you’ve coined a phrase.
And you had to mention Meryl? I wouldn't call this time Meryl's time. She was on fire in the 80s. I love how you get annoyed about Monroe 'cameo' in The Asphalt Jungle.
Obviously I mean Mickey Mouse :)
@Shannon and Dezmond yep, Hardy's been a hidden gem in the acting world for a few years now, hope to see him get some credit soon.
@Andrew Yeah but with someone like Meryl Streep you never know, a career defining performance could always be one film away. With 90% of actors you never get that sense of anticipation as they're always the same.
