So a post on Mad's blog about the unappreciated nature of the film The Cooler got me thinking... you know lots of people love films nobody ever really saw. I've decided to do a new review series here on my blog, entirely based on reader submissions based on that very idea. I want everyone to please take a moment and come up with a couple of films they saw, loved, but failed to strike a cord at the box office.
Rules:
Each reader can choose a maximum of 2 movies.
The movies must have had at least a limited U.S. release (consult IMDB if you're not sure).
The movies must have been made in the last 10 years.
Neither movie could have made more than $20million at the box office in the U.S. (consult Boxofficemojo.com)
That's it. If you suggest a film I've already seen I'll re-watch it, no questions asked. If I can't find the movie I'll let you know so you can grab another selection.
There's no time limit on this, it'll sit here as long as people want to suggest movies and never go down so there's no rush. I just want to open up the forum for those lesser known films, and maybe grab a few new film loves while I'm at it. Also, if you've done a review for the film, link it in your comment and I'll include it in my post!
Thanks ahead of time for anyone who opts to make a suggestion, I hope this works out great for everyone! Suggest Away!

Ghost World!
Waltz with Bashir
Code 46. Will try to think of another.
Not an official review, but a post about the flick.
Ok, thought of another, though it's kind of cheating since it's foreign: Let the Right One In.
Review.
Good idea this. I'll go for:
- Out Of The Blue (2006, New Zealand) which had a limited US release
and...
- The Station Agent (2003, USA)which made $5mil
Pretty sure they both qualify and I think they are both solid four star films, if not better. Looking forward to reading your reviews!
Seeing that I'm a schizo wouldn't each of my five personalities submit two each?
Eek. Didn't answer. Right now I'm thinking The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. Although the second is cheating but it only earned 7ml in US but 17ml abroad. Oh well. Do whichever.

Without question: "Happy Go Lucky" from last year.
@Everyone Great suggestions! Some I've seen, some I haven't, and some I've never heard of, will definitely watch them all and get some posts on them as soon as I can (it'll prob take me a long while to get through them).
A Good Year - Russell Crowe
The Painted Veil - http://www.commonsensemoviereviews.com/2009/08/painted-veil-2006.html
Definitely check out A Good Year, highly highly under advertised, under rated, over criticized, yada yada yada. It's a great romantic comedy.
Word on "Waltz with Bashir."
I gotta say "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" and "You Can Count On Me," two that popped into my mind when I saw this post.
Love the site! I'm a new huge fan...decided to take a look after all those LAMMY noms.
